Happy New Year, and happy New Year’s Resolution! Let’s resolve this year to make a PLAN that works well for you, so that your weight-loss resolutions become realities.

When I think of resolutions, I think of road maps. Maps help you get where you want to go, don’t they?                  Well, having a weight-loss plan will act as your map to help ensure that you reach your health and fitness goals!

 What kinds of things belong in that plan? We’re so glad you asked!  

  • First, get support – GOOD support. You can’t do this alone.
  • Second, seek accountability. Debrief about progress and challenges you   face.
  • Third, invest in yourself. Whether it’s with your money or your time (or both!) you need to have skin in the game.
  • Fourth, and most importantly, be consistent. How? By making small changes you can really stick with.

 Let’s stop looking at New Year’s resolutions as a sprint. Instead, let’s look at those health and fitness goals as if we’re running a marathon. What small changes can you make that you can maintain for the long-term?
